Croque McMonsieur
Serves 2
2 slices sourdough bread
4tbsp crème fraiche
100g Mull of Kintyre Cheddar, grated
1tsp Dijon mustard
2-4 slices of roasted ham – enough to cover a slice of bread
- Toast one side of the bread under the grill until golden.
- Mix the crème fraiche with the grated cheese and mustard.
- Place a slice of ham on the untoasted side of bread, spread the cheese
mixture liberally on top and place under the grill. Cook until golden
and bubbling and serve immediately.
