Cod au Gratin

Serves 4
50g breadcrumbs
4 cod steaks
25g butter
100g Mull of Kintyre Cheddar, grated
Pinch of mustard powder
Lemon to garnish

  1. Grill the breadcrumbs until golden and leave to cool.
  2. Season the cod steaks on both sides.
  3. Place the steaks on foil under a medium grill and put a knob of butter on top of each steak.
  4. Grill for 6 to 8 minutes.
  5. Mix the breadcrumbs with the cheese and mustard. Then turn the fish over and cover with the breadcrumb mix and grill for a further 6 to 8 minutes.
  6. Garnish with lemon and serve.
